Solar panel ruin radio card
I start to figure out why the solar MeshAP failed. After reviewing the software and hardware I found that the radio card died on me. I replace the radio card and everything went back to normal again.
I started to talk with David from Defacto Wireless and he mentioned when low power supply can ruin components. This is hard for me to believe but I he has some merit.
Next time I try this experiment I will reduce the actual operation for only 12 hours.

Voltage regulator or circuitry to shut this down automatically... that's what you need. I've run across these items before, a solar "controller" to regulate power as it comes off the panel or panels...
but this would have been bad power off the batteries, si? Hhhhmmm. Not sure how to control that, but cannot be too difficult, just a matter of C$C$C$.
Are you using the *lowest* power component meshbox in this app? or a used pc box like the compaq?
